This reputable Architecture and Design Firm is looking for an Interior Designer that has start to finish project experience seeking continued growth and development for a leadership role.Interior Design Experience:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Interior Design required
- 5-12 years of experience in all phases of architectural projects w/ emphasis on interior design
- Architectural license required
Interior Designer Requirements:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit, PhotoShop, InDesign, Microsoft Office is preferred.
- Experience in commercial, recreation, public sector, public works, sustainable, municpal/government preferred
- Strong technical, code and detailing skills for quality documentation
- Enthusiastic commitment to the multidisciplinary design process and team environment
- Proactive written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledgeable to support both, management and design- ability to integrate design requirements w/ architecture
- LEED accreditation an asset
- NCIDQ accreditation is preferred
Interior Designer Responsibilities:
- The Interior Designer will be responsible for start to finish project management.
- Consult with clients on creation, presentation of interior design concepts and needs
- Define project requirements and develop design criteria
- Scheduling, Estimates, Budget, Planning to complete projects- drawings, models, images, material etc.
- Use software to design, sketch and provide drawings of proposed projects
- Professional client development skills
- Leadership skills, ability to build relationships at all levels, internally and externally
Interior Designer Compensation:
- $70,000-$110,000 (negotiable based on experience)
