This person will be primarily responsible for leading and guiding the team toward successful product delivery. We are looking for someone who is proactive in fostering a collaborative and iterative environment and embraces continuous improvement. This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to work closely with stakeholders, and work with cross-functional teams to ensure project success and alignment with business goals.Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with key stakeholders to capture business needs, objectives, challenges, and drive requirements development, planning, and analysis to enhance operation capability
- Facilitate working level cross-functional team meetings, providing minutes and other relevant artifacts
- Elicit, document, and analyze business and system requirements for projects and initiatives.
- Analyze and interpret requirements to ensure they are clear, consistent, and feasible.
- Identify and elicit requirements from various stakeholders.
- Assist stakeholders in accurately creating presentations for senior level decision-making.
- Proactively identify and resolve impediments and dependencies.
- Create and maintain clear and concise requirements document.
- Research and describe high level conceptual views.
- Communicate requirements effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to validate and prioritize requirements.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Understanding of the DoD acquisitions process.
- Experience with developing documentation, reviewing, and validating capability requirements across the Department.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of software development processes and methodologies.
- Proficient in requirements management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Office Suite).
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in requirements management tools.
- Strong organization skills and focus on accuracy and consistency.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Education and Experience:
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience as a Requirements Analyst or Business Analyst, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in gathering, analyzing, and documenting business and system requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Experience working at DoD or DISA
- Must have a DoD Secret clearance
