If this sounds like you, we invite you to apply and look forward to getting to know you!Job DescriptionWe are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team of construction professionals. In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Developing documents/reports in various software to include Word, Excel, and other applications.
- Providing written and verbal responses to various clients, both internal and external
- Tracking/maintaining project records.
- Maintaining files in a defined filing system
- Assisting managers in various administrative duties throughout an office environment
- Answering and directing phone calls and providing professional customer support
The ideal candidate will have experience in administrative duties, be able to perform the above tasks with limited guidance or supervision, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, safety-conscious environment.Minimum Qualifications
- 3-5 years of previous administrative or clerical experience in an office setting
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
- Accounts Payable/Receivable Experience, preferably with SAP software knowledge
- Willingness to learn new software (e.g. Ariba) and adjust to changing office procedures
- Capable of handling multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in an environment which may be fast paced
- Strong organizational skills, with ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Ability to identify potential problems, proactively resolve when able, and escalate when necessary
- Positive attitude, professional demeanor, punctuality, and the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including ability to draft professional emails and correspondence
- Valid driver’s license and favorable driving record
- Applicants must undergo a background check
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree or coursework in business administration
