Job description: Position DescriptionSeattle City Light, a department of the City of Seattle, is one of the nation’s largest municipally owned utilities in terms of the number of customers served. Today, City Light is a recognized national leader in energy efficiency and environmental stewardship.Customer Care and Energy Solutions Division is recruiting four one-year, Temporary Electric Service Representatives (ESRs) to serve at Seattle City Light’s North and South Service Centers. In this position, you’ll need strong customer service and written and verbal communication skills. You will be responsible for providing on-site technical advice and assistance to residential customers for the purposes of coordinating new or revised electrical service installations, ensuring safety of customers’ installations and promoting more effective use of electrical energy. QualificationsRequired Qualifications:In addition to the skills and experience mentioned below, a successful applicant will have experience that reflects a commitment to creating fair and equitable outcomes and has:Requires a minimum of two years electrical utility, electrical sales, public relations or other work in which contact with the public was a significant factor; two years of college coursework in electrical science, business administration, or related field may substitute for a maximum of one year of the required experience.License, Certification and Other Requirements:Current Washington State driver’s license is required.Work Environment/Physical Demands:
