Job description: Position: Principal Electrical DesignerLocation: RemoteContract long termJob Description:This is a contract remote role for a Principal Electrical Designer. The Principal Electrical Designer will be responsible for planning, designing, and overseeing electrical systems and components for various projects. Day-to-day tasks will include the development of detailed electrical schematics, conduit plants, cable/wire schedules, single lines, for projects in the Petrochemical field. The role involves collaborating with engineers and project managers to ensure designs are efficient, compliant with industry standards, and meet client specifications.Qualifications:
- At least 15 years’ experience
- Electrical Design and Electrical Engineering skills
- Knowledge of Electricity and Power Systems
- Experience with Power Distribution
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Proficiency in electrical design software
- Experience in an engineering consulting firm or similar environment
