And as a result, our tenured staff are emboldened to bring forth cutting-edge solutions to your industry’s challenges.Job SummaryOur Commissioning Services Team has an immediate opening for a Commissioning Engineer to join our team onsite at Camp Lejeune Marine Corps Air Station to test the performance and functionality of all mechanical systems on the base.TAIs Commissioning Group provides ongoing quality assurance services throughout construction so that critical activities like equipment startup, control system checkout and testing and balancing go smoothly. We help bring solutions to the daily issues complex construction projects produce and ensure that the Owner can confidently occupy their facility and begin carrying out their important mission without delay or future headaches.What You’ll Do:
- Witness mechanical system testing consisting of site inspection, testing, adjusting and balancing (TAB) verification, duct air leakage tests (DALT) and performance verification testing (PVT) for facility HVAC and other mechanical systems prior to construction completion.
- includes verifying design, installation, and system balancing, optimizing and verifying digital controls, verifying equipment start and operation for air handlers, chillers, pumps, boilers, terminal equipment, energy recovery, renewable energy, and distribution systems.
- Verify whether the installed systems meet project specifications, sequence of operations and requirements and proper installation, operation and programming of Building Management Systems.
- Validate complete system functionality including hardware, software and programming and resolve issues with others to ensure proper operation of the Building Management System.
Your Background Should Include:
- BS in engineering with Professional Engineering license and five years of experience OR BS in engineering with 10-years of experience in the construction industry (preferably in the federal sector)
- At minimum five years of experience startup, acceptance testing and performance field verification of commercial HVAC systems equipment including controls systems
