Job description: Job Title: Electrical Controls EngineerJob DescriptionWe are seeking an Electrical Controls Engineer primarily focused on Controls and Automation for a company that manufactures dried good conveying systems. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a smaller company environment with a flexible work schedule.Responsibilities
- Develop and program PLC/HMI systems.
- Architect automation solutions from scratch at a senior level.
- Schedule and coordinate resources, people, vendors, and customers to ensure timely project delivery.
- Read and follow electrical details and drawings with guidance.
- Design electrical systems for 480 VAC and below, including cable and conduit detailing.
- Travel 25-30% of the time for project requirements.
- Work on process control systems, including Wonderware and SCADA.
Essential Skills
- PLC programming
- Rockwell automation experience
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings/schematics
- Experience with electrical power systems (480 VAC and below)
- 3+ years of PLC/HMI programming experience
- Process control background
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- 4-year degree preferred but not required
- Experience with AutoCAD Electrical is a plus
- Ability to travel 25-30% of the time
Work EnvironmentYou will work in a smaller company environment with about 40 employees at the Lino Lakes location. The work schedule is flexible, ideally starting onsite to interact and learn with the team. Travel requirements are 25-30%.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $90000.00 – $150000.00/yr.Health Insurance – Traditional Plan with $1,000 Deductible, $25 Co-pay
