Job description: The Development Associate – ERCOT & MISO will work alongside a group of development associates and analysts in constructing a portfolio of wind and solar projects across MISO, alongside aiding in the assessment of M&A prospects.The Development Associate – ERCOT & MISO will be responsible for:
- Assisting with project success by driving project development and value creation in MISO & ERCOT
- Working with Development Managers to direct market-wide activities, emphasizing budget management and project profitability
- Help to manage due diligence on projects, sites, and counter-parties for acquisition projects
- Analyze and interpret regulations, policy changes, program economics, input prices, and other data by market to provide input to the company’s business plan and development strategy

- 1-3 years of experience in project development
- Experience with at least 2 technologies within MISO (wind experience is a plus)
- Experience in early stage development of wind projects: greenfielding, lease negotiations, interconnection, and permitting
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, environment or a related field
