We are developing large-scale projects based on our innovative and groundbreaking process to safely and permanently sequester carbon underground, and we are looking for standout individuals who are driven by reversing climate change to join our growing team, to help build our company, and to contribute to our culture.The Strategy / Business Development team is responsible for shaping the future of the company through creating industry partnerships and securing commercial partners for Mote’s facilities. We are responsible for generating leads, understanding industry trends, cultivating relationships, scoping and applying for grants and other funding opportunities, and negotiating commercial contracts. We are a group of innovative thinkers, informed and detail-oriented, yet able to take a step back and make holistic assessments, applying our skills at both the corporate and project levels.The Business Development Manager will be directly responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and contracting MOUs, LOIs, and ultimately commercial agreements for hydrogen offtake, carbon removal credits, carbon dioxide offtake, and other kinds of partnerships. This role is responsible for identifying and soliciting new business to build and maintain a full pipeline of sales prospects.Responsibilities

Pay and BenefitsAt Mote, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow within a role. Your base pay depends on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
