Job description: Job Title: Administrative Support Associate IIDepartment: Public Safety CommunicationsExternal Hiring Range: $18.38 – $21.46Compensation Grade: 2002Pay Range: $18.38 – $25.73Posted Internally and ExternallyOur 911 department is seeking a candidate with strong organizational skills, excellent record-keeping abilities, and a solid grasp of professional writing. You will be responsible for tracking important financial documents and meeting deadlines. On a day-to-day basis, you’ll manage an inventory of office supplies, assess departmental needs, and submit maintenance requests as necessary.Confidentiality is critical, as you will be taking notes, scheduling meetings, drafting emails, and maintaining spreadsheets with sensitive information. Above all, flexibility is key, as you will need to step in and assist with various tasks at a moment’s notice.Purpose of the position:The purpose of this position is to provide administrative support in a variety of functions to an individual team, department, or other group.Minimum Education, Training and/or Experience (required at time of hire): High School diploma or equivalent; and a minimum of three (3) years of office experience including customer service experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Essential Functions of the position:
