Job description: Visual DesignerVisual Designers interpret and implement style guides and are familiar with business objectives and goals to help influence the decisions of their design peers and outsourced partners. They look for guidance from more senior designers and are pillars of design excellence. Their portfolios provide sound design solutions within established brands and show explorations of new approaches to design. They’re comfortable collaborating both internally and externally on projects of significant size and scope and are early adopters and champions of new/emerging designs.Responsibilities:
- Designs solutions, including methods, operation sequences, and processes, based on established engineering principles and in accordance with general
- specifications and requirements
- Plans, validates, and implements research methods to test and gather interactive and interface data; analyzes, evaluates, describes, and reports results to stakeholders
- Develop holistic, high-quality interactive and interface solutions for complex projects, products, and services
Education and Experience Required:
Experienced professional with a full understanding of area of specialization including a four-year degree in Design, Graphic Design, Communication Design, Branding, Human Computer Interaction, or other Design and a minimum of 4 to 6 years of related experience or equivalent.Knowledge and Skills:
- Responds to moderately complex issues within established guidelines
- Solves common and complex business issues and recommends appropriate alternatives
- Collaborates with peers, both junior and senior, across multiple job families/business units
- May act as a team or project leader providing direction to team activities and facilitates information validation and team decision making process
- Plans and completes assignments independently and normally receives little instruction on day-to-day work
- May need advice in order to make decisions on more complicated tasks or projects
