Job description: Lead OFCI Equipment / Tracking / Commissioning Coordinator
Manages and coordinates the documentation associated with the delivery and receipt of OFCI equipment and the commissioning of the critical infrastructure. Responsibilities include:
- Managing the Automated Commissioning Management System (ACMS) including the collection and review of equipment testing documentation, scheduling and coordinating work with CxA, OFCI Vendors and subcontractors and monitoring their adherence to project requirements and managing equipment inspection and tagging process.
- Managing the Tagging documentation process (including any CYT’s and associated log)
- Keeping Action Item List Updated
- Review and incorporate OFCI submittals and equipment deliveries into
project schedule and planning requirements
- Participate in AWS Purchasing weekly meetings with Vendors/AWS Stakeholders and GC to track manufacturing, delivery and issues
- Manage and coordinate delivery of OFCI equipment to project site
- Develop and implement inspection process for delivery and receipt of OFCI equipment
- Resolve issues associated with deficiencies or damaged equipment (either repair or replacement)
- Determine any equipment storage requirements and assist in reviewing locations for temporary storage
- Care, Custody, and Control of Amazon‐furnished and Contractor Installed (OFCI) Equipment
- Receive, store, preserve and install the OFCI until PFHO.
- Receiving, uploading, rigging and placing of all the OFCI.
- Review OFCI submittals to ensure the approved engineering submittal matches the received equipment.
- Determine and verify all field measurements, quantities, phasing, dimensions, specified performance and design criteria, installation requirements, materials, and catalog numbers.
- Immediately notify Amazon, in writing, upon discovery of any and all OFCI items which the GC considers incorrect from the design and approved submittal. Immediately report any shipping damage prior to accepting OFCI deliveries.
- Determine necessary climate control for the duration of the project.
