Job description: Job Title: Structural DesignerJob DescriptionThis Structural Designer will have a strong experience in structural design and be responsible for performing a variety of routine design assignments on major projects. An ideal candidate for this role will be a self-starter, who is a creative problem solver and exhibits sound design practices.Responsibilities
- Create detailed structural designs and plans.
- Prepare general arrangements, structural design drawings, and sketches using 2D or 3D modeling software.
- Collaborate with other discipline designers and engineers as well as shop and construction teams.
- Communicate regularly with the project team to convey technical information, identify problems, and develop solutions that achieve project objectives in a timely manner.
- Participate in project meetings and reviews.
Essential Skills
- Proficient in REVIT and AutoCAD.
- Strong experience in structural design.
- Ability to interpret instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to lead execution of work and resolve issues in a team environment.
Work EnvironmentWill be working onsite 5 days a week. The company offers strong benefits, including 3 weeks of vacation starting, profit sharing, and a great bonus program.
