Job description: Position SummaryCTO – AI Infrastructure-as-a-Service Technology FellowWork you’ll doIn this role you will have global responsibility for the technical strategy, architecture, design, and development of a Deloitte branded AI Platform. The role will involve extensive interaction with end-customer, CXO level technical leaders in communicating our value proposition and lead hands-on workshops for defining the customer solution, benchmarking, POC and deployment plan. The development and delivery of this offering involves forging and driving deep partnerships with leading ecosystem partners for accelerated computing, Data, Storage & Cyber security. Given the rapidly evolving technology landscape – the CTO will also leverage an R&D sandbox to evaluate highly differentiated and emerging offerings from promising startups that could offer first-mover advantage.Serving as technology visionaries, Technology Fellows are our most senior, preeminent technology leaders, who are sought after to pioneer our most challenging solutions and architectures. A Technology Fellow’s “highest and best use” is focused on making use of elevated expertise to navigate complex technology efforts.A Technology Fellow contributes to the firm’s growth and development in a variety of ways, including:
- Architecting complex, innovative technology solutions with a focus on business outcomes, cost of quality, and long-term scalability and sustainability
- Leveraging expertise across the most strategic projects to minimize delivery risk and ensure system performance and scalability
- Driving adoption of relevant technologies and best practices by project teams
- Leading asset design and development and supports monetization of assets
- Engaging with C-Suite client leadership during sales and delivery
- Executing architecture strategy, definition, and designs with other ecosystem partners on large scale programs, as applicable
- Maintaining professional architecture recognition internally and externally (e.g., through cross-industry tech advisory roles, publishing POVs, blogs and speaking at external forums)
QualificationsRequired:
- 15+ years experience in technical leadership roles delivering High Performance Computing (HPC)/AI scalable infrastructures
- 2+ years experience with Nvidia’s core infrastructure compute stack & application infrastructure services to include:
- Compute, Networking, and Storage (C/N/S) on Nvidia’s GPUs, Network fabric & switching, Management services (Base Command) and overall management/orchestration (Run.AI or Slurm extensions)
- Application infrastructure services (NVIDIA AI Enterprise) for enabling pre-training, post-training (fine-tuning), LLM RAG end to end pipelines (data-processing & inferencing) based on Nims, NeMo framework and Nvidia libraries (ie: Nemotron)
- Benchmarking and optimization of the core compute stack on Rapids/CUDA with customer workloads and multi-modal datasets
- 6+ years experience with end-to-end solution development and delivery background involving:
- Hybrid cloud scenarios for customers to leverage as-a-Service platforms in hosted cloud environments (Public cloud, Nvidia Cloud providers) and on-prem
- Ease of use features for rapid adoption by end-users (ie: Data Scientists, IT admin, Data Ops personnel)
- Integration with essential 3rd party software needed for a consumable service – ITSM and on-boarding services with tools like ServiceNow
- Security and Governance /compliance needs
- 3+ years experience leading, managing and delivering global large-scale technology engagements with engineering teams in multiple locations (ie: leading architects, developers, testing/QA engineers, etc.)
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Ability to travel up to 50% on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
- Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
Preferred:
- Ability to make and meet commitments on a tight timeline with right-sized scoping on “must haves” to realize customer wins
- Presentation skills with a high degree of comfort with both large and small audiences
- Demonstrated experience driving both the sales cycle by taking the lead in framing out client opportunities and leading the pursuit team to create the proposal content for client discussions
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment
- Demonstrated experience with management and delivery of multiple strategic engagements for large global organization
