Job description: Job Title: Technology DesignerJob DescriptionWe are seeking a highly experienced Technology Designer with over 5 years of experience. Ideal candidates will have worked in an MEP consulting firm or possess a degree in architectural engineering and be proficient in Revit.Responsibilities
- Manage design projects and interface with clients.
- Plan, design, and document infrastructure systems for telecommunications/data structured cabling, audio-visual, security, network, and/or wireless systems for various architectural projects.
- Develop documents for bidding and construction, including drawings, narratives, and specifications.
- Provide construction administration tasks.
- Mentor and lead more junior staff.
Essential Skills
- 5+ years of experience in commercial building design.
- Proficiency in Revit MEP.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Successful experience in project management and client interaction.
- Demonstrated leadership with staff and projects.
- Experience designing infrastructure systems for telecommunications/data structured cabling, audio-visual, security, network, and/or wireless systems.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- RCDD, CTS, or PE credential or the ability to test within 6 months preferred.
- Degrees in Architectural Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields preferred.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Word, Excel.
- Familiarity with Outlook and FTP software.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deliverable deadlines.
- Ability to work well individually and in a team environment.

They are always looking for people who are interested as growing as leaders, becoming owners in the company, running a team, opening a new office, etc.Projects: Sports Facilities, Theaters, Convention Centers, Hospitals, Laboratories, Office Buildings, Municipal Facilities, multifamily and more. Initially this person will likely be working on local projects and long term could work on larger scale national or global projects.They have systems that are intriguing to Engineers that might feel “bored” with the simple systems that they are working on.Work half days on Fridays
