Do you have the Hospice Heart?Your life as a Development Specialist:Your role is very important to our patients and organization. Hospice of Wichita Falls offers exceptional service to all patients and families in Wichita, Archer, Clay, Jack, Montague, Hardeman, Wilbarger, Baylor, Foard, Knox, and Young Counties regardless of their financial circumstance. We rely on you to ensure we continue to provide development programs, enhanced fundraising events, and special events with the purpose of increasing our charitable gifts to allow our mission of “Care, Hope, Support for All When Illness Threatens Life” to be fulfilled. We will rely on your experience to direct all aspects of special events for our organization. As well, you will be directing all aspects of existing fundraising events including meeting established fundraising goals and operating within the established budget. Our schedules are generally 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday thru Friday; however we will have events that occur outside these hours.Job Qualifications
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
- Previous marketing, event planning, or sales experience required.
- 3 to 5 years of documented Development experience preferred.
- Knowledge of Hospice of Wichita Falls, Inc. (HOWF) and the services it provides is preferred.
- Knowledge of the Wichita Falls community and the outlying areas served by Hospice of Wichita Falls, Inc. and understanding of health care trends preferred.
- Advanced technology skills: Fundraising software (Bloomerang, Venmo, etc.), Microsoft Office software, and presentation equipment required.
- Employees must be organized and self-directed with the ability to meet established deadlines and goals/objectives.
- Must have highly developed communication, interpersonal, and creative skills.
- Public Speaking experience required.
