We are looking for a dedicated Surgical Oncology, CNC like you to be apart of our team.As the Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) you will ensure anddeliver high quality, patient-centered care and coordination of all functionsin the unit/department during the designated shift. In collaboration with othermembers of the management team, the CNC will direct, monitor, and evaluatenursing care in accordance with established policies/procedures, serve as aresource person for staff, and model a commitment to the organizationsvision/mission/values to support an unparalleled patient experience andclinical outcomes that contribute to overall departmental performance.
- Youwill collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate, evaluate,customize, and deliver high quality, patient-centered care.
- Youwill exercise judgement and provide direction regarding patient careassignments using established policies/procedures.
- Youwill operationalize evidence-based practices to enhance patient safety andquality outcomes.
- Youwill support the achievement of internal/external benchmarks, accreditations,and designations.
- Youwill ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
- Youwill ensure equipment maintenance is performed regularly and according toregulatory and/or accreditation standards.
- Youwill assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficientthroughput and high quality, patient-centered care.
- Youwill participate in the ongoing assessment of the quality of patient careservices provided in the unit, in collaboration with other members of themanagement team.
- Youwill ensure compliance with evidence-based practices that enhance patientexperience and customer service.
- Youwill collaborate with subject matter experts and other leaders to create anenvironment of teamwork that supports improved outcomes and service.
- Youwill function as a resource person for staff members. Provide coaching,feedback, and training to improve performance and engagement.
- Youwill provide recommendations related to interviewing, selecting, and trainingnew staff. Recommend and implementcourses of action, including training and development, conflict resolution,personnel policy compliance, completion of performance evaluations, and/ordisciplinary actions to ensure a competitively superior organization.
- Youwill assist with staff scheduling. Manage all practical aspects of staff labor in accordance with patientcare needs and established productive guidelines.
