Job description: Join the Global LT community and help provide language lessons to business professionals and their families worldwide. We are hiring English Language Teachers to provide in-person customized lessons to children in Charlotte, NCJob Information:
- Class: 182540/182541
- Student: 2 students (8 and 12 years old) taking classes back-to-bak
- Availability: Monday to Friday 4 to 8 PM
- Lesson frequency: Five times a week
- Lesson length: 1 hour for each child
- Location: The client’s place in Charlotte, NC (close to 400 Dunavant St.)
- Current target language level: Beginner
- Native language: German/Dutch
- Student’s goals: Going to school, managing every day life. Vocabulary, grammar and making friends.
Responsibilities:
- Delivering tailored, dynamic, effective, and engaging lessons
- Developing curricula based on learners’ proficiency level and desired outcomes
- Monitoring students’ progress and guiding learners toward learning goals
- Communicating in an efficient, effective, and professional manner
Qualifications:
- Written and spoken proficiency in the target language
- Certificate or degree in language teaching, education, instructional design, writing, language, linguistics, second-language acquisition, or related field
- Minimum of two years of teaching experience
- Must have experience working with young kids
