Compensation Range: $32 – 37 per hourWe’re looking for a skilled Graphic Designer to produce strategic, cost-effective materials that align with graphic standards and project objectives. In this role, you’ll assist with the design and production of Electric Perspective magazine, promotional materials, and support partner organizations with meeting materials, advertisements, and social media graphics. You’ll also manage the electronic filing system for projects and artwork.Responsibilities:
- Produce functional, cost effective, strategic material consistent with graphic standards, project objectives, and identity policy.
- Assist with design and production of Electric Perspective magazine and relevant promotional materials following set specifications, providing proofs for review, and preparing projects for end use.
- Support partner organizations/affiliate members and member programs with creation of meeting materials, advertisements, social media graphics, etc. which include CEWD, National LAMPAC, National Key Accounts, UUAS, Business Diversity, etc.
- Maintain electronic filing system for projects and supporting artwork (including stock photography); archiving proofs, project notes, and correspondence.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferably in communication arts, graphic design, or related field.
- 3 years as a graphic designer with a trade association, corporation, public relations firm, ad agency, or similar environment.
- Expertise in print/electronic design for a variety of communication and marketing materials.
- Proficiency in current software (adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, PowerPoint, Office 365).
- Knowledge in print production and printing industry standards, as well as electronic publication applications.
- Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective, professional relationships with good interpersonal and collaboration skills.
