Vacuums and buffs floors, shampoos carpets, empties trash receptacles, and replace lining of trash cans. Responsibilities:Essential Job Functions * Perform cleaning tasks including; Sweeping and mopping floors, Cleaning toilets, urinals, hand basins, sinks, baths, showers and drinking fountains., Cleaning buildings by emptying trash, sweeping, dusting and cleaning surfaces,
- Monitor building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors after operating hours.
- Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.
- Light maintenance as directed by the Swept Free supervisor.
- Demonstrate professional conduct at all times. Follow the code of conduct and Agency expectations as outlined in the Employee Handbook.
- Transport Swept FREE team members to and from TRI location in Westbury to FREE location in Bethpage.
Qualifications:Education, Work Experience, and Competencies * Experience in janitorial/maintenance industry preferred.
- Must have a valid NYS driver’s license
- H.S. Diploma/GED
Physical Demands * Must be able to stand for 5 – 6 hours at a time and lift over 50lbs.
