Compensation Range: $35-39/hrWe are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Proofreader to join our team and support our financial services company on short-form digital marketing projects. The ideal candidate will have a command over grammar, punctuation, and syntax, and a keen eye for ensuring brand consistency and adherence to regulatory guidelines. This role requires proficiency in proofreading digital content, including email campaigns, social media posts, website copy, and paid media ads, within tight deadlines.Responsibilities:
- Proofreading and Editing: Review and refine digital marketing content for grammar, punctuation, spelling, and stylistic accuracy.
- Brand and Compliance Assurance: Ensure all materials align with brand guidelines, company tone of voice, and financial industry compliance regulations.
- Fact-Checking: Verify accuracy of data.
- Collaboration: Work closely with copywriters, designers, marketing strategists, and legal teams to deliver polished and compliant content.
- Digital Optimization: Check formatting for digital platforms, ensuring optimal readability and user experience across devices.
- Project Tracking: Maintain organized records of feedback, changes, and approvals for multiple projects simultaneously.
Qualifications:
Experience
- Minimum 3 years of professional proofreading experience, preferably within the financial services or marketing industry.
- Exceptional command of English grammar and syntax.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify inconsistencies.
- Knowledge of financial terminology and regulatory requirements is a plus.
Technical Proficiency
- Familiarity with Workfront is preferred.
- Basic Copy-Editing skills.
Soft Skills:
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to handle multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
