As the cornerstone of our engineering team, you’ll bring your expertise in PHP, Laravel, Livewire, and Vue.js to the table, while leveraging your deep knowledge of AWS to craft robust and scalable systems. Your role is more than just writing code; it’s about architecting solutions, mentoring talent, and driving performance to support our ever-growing user base and data needs.Responsibilities:
- Lead with Impact: Mentor and manage a small, talented team of engineers, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Architect for Scale: Design and implement innovative solutions using the latest tech stack to deliver exceptional user experiences.
- Maximize Performance: Optimize systems for speed, reliability, and scalability to meet increasing demands.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with cross-functional teams to align on strategy and achieve shared goals.
- Champion Cloud Excellence: Leverage AWS to build, deploy, and maintain resilient cloud-based systems.
- Thrive in Remote: Enjoy the flexibility of remote work while syncing with the team during core collaboration hours (Mon-Fri, 9:00am-12:00pm ET).
Team Leadership
- Guide, mentor, and manage a team of 3-5 engineers.
- Foster collaboration and ensure effective communication within the team.
Technical Expertise
- Utilize expertise in PHP, Laravel, Livewire, and Vue.js to architect and implement solutions.
- Ensure code quality, scalability, and maintainability.
Cloud Services Management
- Leverage extensive experience in AWS to design, deploy, and manage cloud-based solutions.
- Optimize performance and scalability in the cloud environment.
Cross-Team Collaboration
- Work closely with other teams and stakeholders to align technical strategies with business goals.
- Facilitate smooth handoffs and integrations between teams.
Performance Optimization
- Identify and address performance bottlenecks in applications and infrastructure.
- Ensure systems can support a growing user base and increasing data demands.
Remote Work Coordination
- Collaborate effectively in a remote environment.
- Availability during core working hours of Mon-Fri, 9:00am-12:00pm ET to ensure sufficient cross-over with the team.
