Job description: Duties Description The Business Systems Analyst 1 will, applying a wide range of specialized knowledge, skills, abilities, tools and techniques, work with OMH Clinical and other business stakeholders to analyze, define, develop, and communicate and validate requirements for new or existing business processes and/or information technology systems. The position is expected to provide application support for OMH business units and clinical programs.

Transfer:
Candidates must have one year of permanent status as a Business Systems Analyst 1, and be eligible for lateral transfer; OR be eligible to transfer via Section 70.1 or 52.6 of the Civil Service Law into the Business Systems Analyst 1 or Business Systems Analyst Trainee level.PCO & PATT:
Individuals with the score of 100 or higher on the current 2022 holding of the PCO or PATT eligible list who are interested in this vacancy, but did not receive a canvass letter, are encouraged to apply. The salary for candidates appointed to Business Systems Analyst Trainee 1 starts at $ 52,198 and, for current New York State employees, is based on the candidate’s salary at the time of hire.Specific scheduled hours and telecommuting availability for this position will be discussed during the interview process. Expected salary: $65001 – 82656 per year
