Job description: Senior Business Systems Analyst (Technical Solutions Analyst) – Revolutionize Insurance Technology!Join our team in Midtown NYC and play a key role in transforming the insurance industry! We are seeking a highly experienced and driven Senior Business Systems Analyst (officially titled Technical Solutions Analyst) to contribute to critical projects for our client, Church Insurance Companies (CIC), and our innovative eBPP (electronic Bill Presentment & Payment) platform. This is a fantastic opportunity to leverage your expertise and make a real impact.About the Role:As a Senior Business Systems Analyst, you will be responsible for eliciting, analyzing, documenting, and managing requirements for key projects related to CIC and eBPP. You will collaborate with stakeholders across the business to understand their needs, translate those needs into actionable requirements, and ensure that solutions meet those requirements. This includes facilitating knowledge transfer from existing team members.Responsibilities:
- Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements using various techniques, including user stories, use cases, and process flows.
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure that requirements are understood and implemented correctly.
- Manage the requirements throughout the project lifecycle, including changes and prioritization.
- Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate that solutions meet business requirements.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across the business.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration between business and technical teams.
- Apply innovative and creative thinking to resolve conflicts and achieve optimal solutions.
- Demonstrate strong project management and analysis skills.
Qualifications:
- 10-15 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or Technical Solutions Analyst.
- Essential: Experience in the Property & Casualty insurance industry.
- Essential: Experience with online payment platforms and processes.
- Strong understanding of business analysis methodologies and best practices.
- Proven ability to elicit, analyze, and document complex business requirements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience writing user stories and other requirements documentation.
- Strong relationship-building skills and ability to resolve conflicts effectively.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
- Experience with Knowledge Transfer processes.
Bonus Points:
- Experience with CIC (Church Insurance Companies) systems.
- Experience with eBPP (electronic Bill Presentment & Payment) platforms.
Location & Work Arrangement:
- Midtown NYC
- Hybrid: M/F WFH, T/W/Th in office
- 6+ month contract-to-hire
Interview Process:
