We work in teams, hold each other accountable, and recognize employees for their efforts.We are currently seeking a Cleaning Service Manager to join our team!The Cleaning Service Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the cleaning business. You will be responsible for supporting cleaning teams and ensuring they have everything they need to be successful, making sure customers’ expectations are being met, and providing hands-on cleaning when necessary.Key Responsibilities
Communication/Customer Service:
- Maintain communication through group texts with management and teams for daily case load
- Communicate with clients regarding scheduling and any issues that may arise
Training/Mentoring:
- Help onboard and train new employees
- Support in maintaining a highly trained and motived staff that strives for excellence in cleanliness and service
- Ensure employees are properly trained and equipped to perform their role
Leadership/Supervision:
- Assist in the interview/hiring process for new team members
- Manage and oversee daytime cleaning staff and operations
- Complete and track employee performance reviews
- Create and deliver Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs) for employees not meeting expectations
- Demonstrate a positive attitude and lead by example
- Assist in developing the weekly schedule and making revisions as needed
- Manage an incentive program to motivate and reward employees
Quality Assurance/Safety:
- Ensure cleaning tasks are being completed to quality standards
- Conduct site inspections to ensure quality control
- Ensure work vehicles are being properly maintained by employees and communicate with fleet manager when routine maintenance and repairs are required
- Ensure the safety, cleanliness and organization of the warehouse and office space
Inventory:
- Maintain proper supply and equipment levels
- Ensure equipment is in good working order and submit work orders to maintenance when repairs are required
General Support:
- Assist owner with various administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in residential/commercial cleaning, housekeeping, or related field
- 1-2 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial role in residential/commercial cleaning, housekeeping, or related field
- Highschool diploma or equivalent
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills
- Ability to pass state and federal background checks
- Clean driving background
- Excellent attention to detail
- Must be dexterous and able to lift a minimum of 25 lbs.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Strong ability to work independently and within a team
- High level of communication skills, both oral and written
Pay Range
$45,000 to $53,000 per year, depending on experienceWork Hours
Typical hours are Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm, with occasional work outside of those hours, as neededBenefits/PTO
