- You will evaluate, plan, and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the educational, financial, and administrative aspects of the program operations, procedures, policies, and instructions.
- You will provide management analysis, procurement, travel contract administration, property management, space management, security administration, reports management, data processing, and similar or closely related activities.
- You will serve as the principal coordinator and administrator for faculty appointments and promotions, ensuring that appointment packages are submitted for approval in compliance with policy.
- You will analyze program information, such as statistical data, through database searches and information gained through observation and discussions to summarize and prepare reports.
- You will plan, direct, develop, formulate, execute budgetary activities for the department.
- You will serve as the department’s security officer including authorizing the distribution of department keys, vehicle registrations, identification cards, and temporary passes.
- You will serve as property custodian and will be responsible for the accountability of government equipment assigned to the department.

QualificationsYour resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Utilizing hospital and/or institutional regulations and operating procedures to avoid conflicts, and disputes; 2) Utilizing knowledge and proficiency with commonly used office software to include: Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel; 3) Organizing, and prioritizing work to coordinate multiple assignments and requirements simultaneously and with accuracy; and 4) Completing assignments involving analytical techniques and evaluation criteria to improve program effectiveness or organizational structures.Additional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management website:Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social).
