Project Managers at Edge will be responsible for all financial reporting on a project as well as tracking and projecting all labor, material, job expenses, and changes. This individual will also oversee monthly financial projections, and the creation of a job-specific schedule of values that maintains positive cash flow, and will create, submit, and manage all submittals throughout the entire project. Responsibilities:
- Read blueprints, review bid documents and specifications for accuracy/discrepancies
- Set clear goals and expectations for the foreman
- Provide coaching/counseling to the foreman
- Work closely with the client Superintendent and Project Manager
- Resolve client concerns
- Create and maintain project schedules and budgets
- Manage submittals, RFI’s, drawings, correspondence, change orders
- Conduct post-mortem project reviews to determine areas for future improvement
Electrical Project Manager Qualifications:
- 5+ years’ experience in the commercial electrical industry
- Extensive understanding of electrical systems and installation
- Ability to read plans
- Experience with tenant finish-outs and some ground-up experience
- Working knowledge and experience in Procore, Outlook, and submittals are preferred
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suites
- Familiarity with Procore is desirable but not required
- English / Spanish bilingual is desirable but not required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
