Job description: Job Title: Electrical Design EngineerJob DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Electrical Design Engineer to join our team. You will be responsible for designing electrical systems for commercial, industrial, and educational projects, ensuring project success through effective client and discipline interaction, and utilizing industry-standard software tools.Responsibilities
- Interact with clients and other disciplines to ensure project success.
- Utilize AutoCAD and learn to apply Revit in design processes.
- Engage in electrical design for commercial, industrial, and educational projects.
- Design electrical power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and lighting control systems for various project types.
- Perform routine calculations such as sizing distribution equipment, feeders, and branch circuits.
- Generate equipment schedules and code compliance documentation.
Essential Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and Revit.
- 1-3 years of experience as a Project Designer for building power and lighting systems.
- Working knowledge of building codes, NEC, and CA Title 24 requirements.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in industrial design, commercial building, commercial design, commercial construction, and educational projects.
