Job Summary:Voda Cleaning and Restoration is seeking a skilled and motivated Lead Technician to take charge of our Carpet Cleaning and Water Restoration teams in the field. This role requires hands-on expertise to ensure projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest industry standards. As the Lead Technician, you will lead by example, perform fieldwork, and provide guidance to team members to ensure top-tier customer service and job quality.Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership:
- Direct and oversee daily operations of the carpet cleaning and water restoration teams, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to safety standards.
- Mentor and train team members on industry techniques, safety protocols, and proper equipment usage.
- Field Operations:
- Perform hands-on fieldwork, including carpet cleaning and water restoration, to maintain quality and ensure seamless project execution.
- Conduct quality control inspections to confirm compliance with IICRC standards and company protocols.
- Client Interaction:
- Serve as the primary point of contact on-site, addressing client concerns, ensuring satisfaction, and providing excellent customer service.
- Safety and Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to OSHA regulations and company safety policies, maintaining proper documentation of safety procedures.
- Project Coordination:
- Assist with scheduling, resource allocation, and inventory management to ensure smooth job execution.
- Maintain accurate documentation for projects, including work orders and client records.
Qualifications:
- Preferred Certifications:
- IICRC (Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification) in:
- WRT (Water Restoration Technician)
- CCT (Carpet Cleaning Technician)
- AMRT (Applied Microbial Remediation Technician)
- OSHA 30 Certification.
- Experience:
- 3-5 years in water restoration and carpet cleaning operations.
- Proven ability to lead and mentor field teams effectively.
- Skills:
- Strong technical expertise in water restoration and carpet cleaning techniques.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
- Familiarity with project management tools such as Xactimate and CRM systems.
