Job Summary:
Voda Cleaning and Restoration is seeking a dedicated and experienced Floor Cleaning Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and hands-on experience cleaning a variety of flooring types using truck-mounted equipment. Experience with Apex 500 truck mount machine is highly preferred. This role requires a hands-on approach, attention to detail, technical expertise, and excellent customer service skills.Floor Cleaning Technician Responsibilities:
- Perform professional cleaning services for various flooring types, including but not limited to carpet, tile and grout, hardwood, vinyl, and concrete.
- Operate truck-mounted cleaning systems (Apex 570 preferred).
- Assess job sites to determine the best cleaning methods and solutions.
- Pre-treat and prepare floors for cleaning as needed.
- Ensure all equipment is maintaned, cleaned, and operational.
- Handle cleaning chemicals safely and according to industry standards.
- Communicate with customers to explain services, answer questions, and ensure satisfaction.
- Adhere to all safety protocals and company standards.
- Assist with additional tasks, such as equipment setup and cleanup, as needed
Qualifications.
- Proven experience as a Floor Cleaning Technician, with a strong understanding of floor cleaning techniques for various surfaces.
- Hands-on experience with truck-mounted cleaning systems Apex 570 experience highly preferred.
- Knowledge of cleaning solutions, chemicals, and their appropriate use for different flooring types.
- Strong mechanical aptitude for maintaining and troubleshooting equipment.
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and supplies (up to 50 lbs).
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record.
