They are seeking a skilled CAD Drawer/Designer who not only excels in computer-aided design but also possesses hands-on experience in building and engineering concepts.**Salary based on experience**Job Summary: The CAD Drawer/Designer will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and models for various projects, including vehicles, watches, and architectural structures. This role requires a deep understanding of engineering principles, materials, and construction methods. The ideal candidate will be both a creative designer and a practical builder, capable of translating concepts into tangible, functional designs.Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Drawing: Create accurate and detailed CAD drawings and 3D models for various projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and specifications.
- Concept Development: Collaborate with engineers and designers to develop initial concepts and prototypes, contributing insights from a hands-on perspective.
- Prototyping: Participate in the building and testing of prototypes, providing feedback on design functionality and manufacturability.
- Engineering Principles: Apply knowledge of engineering principles to ensure designs are structurally sound and feasible for production.
- Materials Selection: Assist in selecting appropriate materials for projects based on durability, aesthetics, and cost considerations.
- Cross-Disciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with different departments, including engineering, manufacturing, and project management, to ensure project alignment and success.
- Problem Solving: Identify potential design challenges and propose effective solutions to improve product performance and manufacturability.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of designs, specifications, and revisions, ensuring all documentation is up to date and accessible.
Qualifications:
- Associate s or Bachelor s degree in CAD Design, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Proven experience in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Rhino) and 3D modeling.
- Hands-on experience in building or assembling products, with a solid understanding of engineering and construction concepts.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes and materials used in automotive, consumer products, or architectural applications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively collaborate with team members.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
