Responsibilities for the Commercial HVAC Installer:
- Expertly install and commission a variety of commercial HVAC equipment, including split systems, chillers, cooling towers, VRF systems, ductwork, and related components.
- Demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of electrical systems, control systems, and refrigerant piping.
- Coordinate with project managers and team members to ensure seamless and timely installations.
- Fabricate and install ductwork and piping to precise project specifications.
- Thoroughly test installed HVAC systems, making necessary adjustments for optimal performance.
- Communicate effectively with customers and contractors, addressing concerns and ensuring project satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used, and adhere strictly to all safety protocols and regulations.
Qualifications for the Commercial HVAC Installer:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience installing and commissioning commercial/industrial HVAC systems.
- Strong knowledge in electrical, control systems, and refrigerant piping.
- Proficiency in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting.
- EPA/NATE/OSHA certification is a plus, but not required.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed.
