Job description: Overview:TekWissen is a global workforce management provider headquartered in Ann Arbor, Michigan that offers strategic talent solutions to our clients world-wide.” The below job opportunity is to one of Our clients who is a leading global provider of agricultural science and technology, in particular seeds and crop protection products, with its management headquarters in Basel, Switzerland, and further locations in Chicago, Tel Aviv, and Shanghai.Job Title: Business Analyst 5Location: Research Triangle Park, NC, 27709Duration: 12 MonthsJob Type: ContractWork Type: OnsiteJob Description:Duties:AccountabilitiesDevelop a standardized cost estimating and forecasting process and toolDevelop a comprehensive cost database of achieved costs to capture cost knowledge for all investments.Develop an analysis methodology to review project costs vs internal and external benchmarks.Proactively challenge project cost estimates on request of senior leadersDevelop and operate a database of estimated and achieved costs, with the ability to analyse by type and characteristics.Advise project teams on contemporary project cost management tools and techniques.Develop process for project cost review and challenge at any step of the End-to-End project process to support the governance established.Compile and analyse project costs across the organisation in support of benchmarking.Collate and distribute achieved costs for integration into estimating database(s)Codify cost structure for all projects and deploying standardized cost evaluation methodologies.\Bring analysis on our project cost, propose and lead improvement activities.Collaborate with indirect procurement & finance to target common improvements.Contribute to Project Closure Reports to ensure standardised achieved cost evaluation and recording.Perform and participate in project audits and Peer reviews on request.Critical Success factors and Key challengesIndependent view, ability to bring and maintain factual and unbiased point of viewStrong capacity to constructively challenge, with capacity to adapt the how targeting stable improvement.Ability to communicate and influence all levels: from project teams to senior managers.Collaboration skills to develop network across functions, sites, and regions.Continuous improvement mindset based on a strong business acumen.Strong knowledge and experience on project execution, contractor management.Liaison with Finance function and operating knowledge of contemporary of business evaluation tools e.g. NPV methods.DimensionsBusiness Impact:People: Direct reports: n/a _ Indirect reports: influencing more then 400 engineers across CP organizationGeographic Scope: GlobalComplexity: Ability to be a strong challenger and a good transformer with global footprint for all CP sitesSkills:Experience / Previous jobs required for the jobA relevant project execution background, with more than 10 years in project cost evaluation, with a wide range of project types (from small to large, for number of area: infrastructure, expansion, sustenance, )Large understanding of project process, in particular on project execution phase: contracting, FAT, SAT, commissioning, managing contractorExcellent interpersonal, influencing and communication skills.Ability to think and work in complex structuresDemonstrated influencing capabilitiesAbility to demonstrate challenge to the status quo.Must be mobile to travel and accompany project activity whenever required on sites.Must be able to influence and successfully deliver across a wide range of international cultures.Awareness of business environment and corporate strategic direction.Education:Critical knowledge and education required for the jobFluent in EnglishFunctional expertise in desired subject matter: project cost evaluation, project experience, capability in evaluating the right contingency for projects.Information and data management: ability to develop and share complex database on project cost in link with all sites and regionCredibility:Need to be trusted by LTs.
