The primary responsibility is to develop and execute the business plan for contract logistics growth in the eCommerce & Retail segment for the US/Mexico region, primarily targeting Contract Logistics business in the Technology Industry especially Consumer Electronics, PC/Smartphone, Cloud/Data Center, Robotics, Networking Equipment, Telecom, and related companies. This position will work in conjunction with global and regional teams. This position is given a high degree of autonomy to manage the solution sales process and is supported extensively by the organization.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Develops and executes a business plan for contract logistics growth in eCommerce, Retail & Multi-Customer for the US/Mexico region; Business plan to leverage DP World’s advantages and addresses DP World’s obstacles to new business growth in these segments
- Manages a team of salespeople focused on selling eCommerce, Retail & Multi-Customer contract logistics solutions
- Project manages initiatives that are required to transform the business to be successful in offering and operating eCommerce, Retail & Multi-Customer contract logistics solutions
- Creates a comprehensive territory plan aimed at identifying the top regional/industry opportunities and expanding business to new accounts
- Generates effective leads and opportunities from the territory plan
- Identifies and develops relationships with key decision makers at all levels within an account
- Understands the customer’s business (strategically, operationally, financially) and understands the customer’s buying process and identify all influences, intimately understanding their requirements
- Works across company to create custom solutions that deliver value to our customers
- Take ownership for bids/quotes and ensure all internal stakeholders in the company are aligned on any such bids and that responses are professionally administered and in line with our internal financial rules
- Work closely with various domestic and international colleagues in a professional manner which reflects the seniority of the role and ability to understand and account for varying business perspectives surrounding solutions to the assigned customer
- Maintains an open dialogue with the account executive sponsor and keeps the sponsor engaged in the account
- Maintains an up-to-date pipeline of current and future opportunities, quantifying number of opportunities, value of the opportunity and managing the probability to win
- Owns the commercial relationship and contract negotiations with customer for new business wins and ensures direct reports own the commercial relationships for their new business wins
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- 8+ years of relevant experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or Supply Chain or other relevant field
- Specific knowledge and experience working in the North America contract logistics market
- Relevant work experience in developing and executing an e-Commerce growth plan for contract logistics
- Proven track record in winning new customers
- Willingness to travel at 70%

$170,000 – $200,000This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location.
