Job description: Title: JSF Senior Electrical EngineerKBR is seeking a highly motivated self-starter, adaptable to a fast-paced exciting environment as a Senior Electrical Engineer, to support the Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3) contract at NAS Patuxent River, MD. This work is with a high operational tempo team working on innovative technologies to maintain air and sea superiority in support of the E3 Aircraft Division.In this position, you will serve as an Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3) Engineer providing support to the Mission Systems Team at the F-35 Joint Program Office (JPO). This position will provide technical support for development relating to E3 requirements for the F-35 Air System.RESPONSIBILITIES:

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:Required Experience: Minimum of 25 years experience required in E3 for military aircraft design, development, test, evaluations, and reporting, in accordance with MIL-STD-461 and MIL-STD-464. Knowledge of MIL-HDBK-516 Section 13.Security Clearance Requirement: Secret security clearance. U.S. Citizenship.Required Education: BS degree in Engineering or relevant military experienceScheduled Weekly Hours: 40 hours/weekCompensation: $165,000 – 206,000. The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities, contract affordability and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.Additional Compensation: KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels per internal policy or contractual designation.
