Job description: A leading innovator in mobile computing is looking for a recent Electrical Engineering graduate for an Engineering Technician opening!Top 3 Must-Haves:
- Electrical Engineering Expertise: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Test Equipment Skills: Strong experience using electronic test equipment: oscilloscopes, multimeters, function generators, etc.
- Schematic Reading Proficiency: Strong proficiency in reading schematics or blueprints.
PAY: $20-$22 AN HOURKey Responsibilities:
- Test prototypes, devices, and other products using standard lab equipment and processes under the guidance of engineers.
- Maintain records of preliminary schematics and document test results.
- Perform operational tests and fault isolation on product assemblies and hardware.
- Conduct audits and tests of products in development, debug and characterize defects, and provide detailed reports.
- Assist product development engineers in diagnosing and replicating product failures, and analyze test results to make recommendations.
Skills:
- Required to work in our Holtsville, NY location 5 days a week.
- Ability to properly use lab equipment.
- Quantitative and problem-solving skills.
