Job description: IES Commercial, Inc. – Commercial & Industrial Division, is seeking an Electrical Foreman in the Grand Island and Kearney, NE area. $7500 Hiring Bonus!Job Summary * Supervises electricians, apprentices and other craft workers assigned to projects.
- Interprets company policies to employees, enforcing safety regulations and proper care of tools and equipment.
- Enforces and communicates all aspects of construction: safety, technology, equipment, methods, company policies, procedures, and standards.
- Completes other duties as directed by supervisor.
- Complies with and enforces all company and customer safety policies and procedures.
- Travel may be required.
Qualifications * Valid State Electrical Journeyman License.
- 4 – 6 years’ recent commercial or industrial electrical experience.
- Supervisory experience in an industrial electrical construction environment.
- High School Diploma/GED.
- OSHA 30 or ability to obtain.
- Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) drug test and MVR check when responsibilities require operating motor vehicles.
- Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) background check when applicable per customer contract requirement.
