Job description: We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Manager to spearhead growth initiatives for our industrial filtration solutions in the Mountain West region. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of industrial processes, a proven track record in sales, and the ability to cultivate lasting relationships with clients in industries such as automotive, energy, and water treatment. This role is remote.
- Identify and engage new customers and industries requiring filtration solutions. Conduct market research to uncover trends, customer needs, and potential growth opportunities in the Mountain West region.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers, ensuring a deep understanding of their filtration needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Lead the end-to-end sales process, including prospecting, presenting solutions, negotiating contracts, and closing deals to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in industrial filtration, educating clients on the technical and operational advantages of the company’s products and services.
- Partner with internal engineering, marketing, and operations teams to align sales strategies with company goals and deliver seamless client experiences.
- Strategically manage the Mountain West territory, including regular client visits and participation in regional trade shows and industry events.
- Maintain accurate sales records, forecasts, and activity reports. Provide market feedback to inform product development and marketing strategies.

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Environmental Science, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in business development or sales, ideally within industrial filtration or a related industry.
- In-depth knowledge of filtration technologies and their applications across industries such as manufacturing, oil and gas, and water treatment.
- Technical background in filtration or fluid dynamics.
- Familiarity with CRM tools and data-driven sales strategies.
- Experience with sustainability-focused solutions in filtration systems.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with a diverse range of clients and stakeholders.
- Self-motivated, with excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the Mountain West/Four Corners region.
