As a Sales Development Representative, you will play a vital role in generating pipeline momentum, driving customer expansion, and supporting our sales efforts across multiple territories and market segments. This role blends inbounding into net new territories and finding additional contacts to multithread into Commercial accounts.This position will contribute to the development of greenfield territories while building strong cross-departmental relationships. Unlike traditional SDR roles, this position emphasizes expertise development and the unique opportunity to build relationships with multiple Account Executives as we expand into new markets in the commercial segment (companies with 200-2000 employees). You will collaborate closely with teammates and stakeholders across sales and marketing to drive Fivetran’s growth and success and build a pipeline in new areas of the business. - Identify and map key decision-makers within commercial accounts, targeting companies with 200-2000 employees.
- Execute outbound prospecting efforts in multiple greenfield territories, securing sales-qualified opportunities through personalized outreach and cadences.
- Conduct research to understand customer challenges and position Fivetran’s solutions effectively, with pitches ranging from C-level executives to data analysts.
- Organize, log, and categorize sales lead information and activity in
. * Manage inbound inquiries through various marketing channels such as website chat and email inquiries.Pipeline Development:
- Collaborate with Account Executives, Marketing, and Alliances to develop strategies that drive customer expansion, upsell opportunities, and pipeline growth in greenfield territories.
- Support commercial account mapping efforts to uncover high-potential opportunities.
- Utilize pre-created and custom cadences aligned with industry, persona, and use case to ensure targeted outreach.
Research & Data Enrichment:
- Leverage tools like Salesforce, Salesloft, Outreach, ZoomInfo, LeadIQ, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator to enrich contact and account data.
- Perform in-depth research on target accounts and industries to enhance outreach personalization and strategy.
Skills We’re Looking For
- Experience: Previous SDR/BDR experience (6+ months preferred).
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and proper grammar.
- Research Proficiency: Ability to gather, analyze, and apply information to identify decision-makers and understand market challenges.
- Tech Savvy: Familiarity with tools like Salesforce,
