Job description: Advertised Position Title: FWS – Graphic / Web Designer and Social Media Coordinator at Owens OutComm Student Media Center (Federal Work-Study)Job Description:** This position is open exclusively to current Students at Owens Community College who are eligible for Federal Work-Study.(If you’re unsure of your eligibility, please contact .)The successful candidate for this position will manage all graphic design, web elements and social media sites for OOSMC.Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:Applicant must have knowledge in Adobe products and web hosting.Familiar with College activities and student activities.Specific skills include: Adobe CC.Good organizational skillsCommunicates well with students and campus employeesAbility to make decisionsManage multiple concurrent tasksEssential Functions:​Manage/Create Imagery for the OOSMC on-line and for Print.Manage daily updates to the OOSMC website and social media sites.Create Website templates and pages.Work with Visual Story Telling and Media Writing courses to post course and campus content.Organize, file and archive OOSMC digital content.Other Characteristics:Applicant must be personable, open to suggestions, work well with others, and maintain a professional work environment.Education/Experience:High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.)Experience in web design and graphic design.Adobe CCUnion Position:Job Classification: Student WorkerDuty Days:Work Schedule:Grant Funded Position:FLSA Status: United States of America (Non-Exempt)Pay Basis: HourlyHiring Range: $10.45-$12.50Retirement System: SERS – SERS (Retirement System Classification)
