Job Description:
We are seeking a Clinical Fellow Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a partner school that provides education for students with Autism Spectrum Disorders. We are seeking a hardworking individual to join our speech therapy team on a full-time basis for the 2024-2025 school year. The Speech Language Pathologist will be responsible for developing treatment plans, completing evaluations, and collaborating with parents and other key stakeholders.Additional responsibilities will include;
- Provide year-round services for students with Autism Spectrum Disorders, including direct, small group sessions, and push in utilizing evidence-based practices to enhance communication skills
- Compile and develop treatment plans to support students for 6 buildings and act as Lead Bilingual Evaluator
- Regularly monitor and document students progress towards IEP goals and adjust therapy plans as necessary
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of assessments, therapy sessions, and progress reports. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and school district regulations, including the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA).
- Work closely with BCBAs and other professional such as Occupational Therapists, Special Education Teachers, and more
Speech Language Pathologist Requirements:
- School-based and/or pediatric experience working with K-12th Graders
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid PA SLP license from the Pennsylvania Board of Speech-Language Pathologists
- Valid PA Education Specialist Certificate from the Pennsylvania Department of Education
