We maintain and steadily improve an advanced research computing facility, and we support a variety of environments for Stanford research. In Stanford Research Computing, you’ll have a rare opportunity to contribute to discoveries and inventions that have global reach and positive impact, and to share in the curiosity and commitment of the scholars and scientists who lead these projects.This position is a part of the management team within Stanford’s Research Computing organization, leading a group of staff who work directly with Stanford researchers. This includes development and delivery of training and workshops, onboarding activities for new researchers, and assistance on a broad variety of topics via direct consultation, office hours and tickets. Topics can range from the basics of cluster and cloud computing to data movement and storage to assistance with specialized software.CORE DUTIES:
