The Electrical Design Project Manager is responsible for overseeing electrical design projects from inception to completion. This role combines technical expertise in electrical engineering with strong project management skills to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and execution of electrical design projects.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project requirements are met.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
- Review and approve electrical design specifications and documentation.
- Conduct regular project status meetings and provide updates to stakeholders.
- Identify and mitigate project risks and issues promptly.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Facilitate communication between clients, engineers, and contractors.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in electrical design projects.
- Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
- Proficiency in Revit, BIM, and Navisworks is preferred.
- PE or EIT is a plus.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
