Job description: Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily operations of electrical construction projects, ensuring safety and quality standards are met.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure on-time and on-budget completion.
- Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of electricians, apprentices, and other field personnel.
- Perform regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Review project plans and specifications, identifying potential issues and implementing solutions.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including change orders, daily reports, and safety logs.
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with local, state, and national electrical codes and regulations.
- Foster positive relationships with clients, addressing any concerns or issues promptly.
- Participate in project meetings and provide updates on progress, challenges, and milestones.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in electrical construction, with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and regulations.
- Proven ability to manage large-scale electrical projects from start to finish.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and project plans.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- OSHA 30-hour certification (preferred).
- Journeyman Electrician or Master Electrician license (preferred).
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
