Job description: Job DescriptionThe Department of Environmental Quality is current looking to fill their Administrative Assistant position within the Division of Drinking Water.Principal Duties
- Review and write correspondence
- Organize and assist the Division of Drinking Water
- Assist with setting up and managing the Drinking Water Board meetings
- Providing meeting minutes
- Support the Division Director and Assistant Directors
Minimum Qualifications
The ideal person for this position will be able to:
- Work experience involving coordination, communication, and/or customer service
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Able to deal with people in a sensitive, tactful, and professional manner
- Able to manage and prioritize multiple projects and tasks
- Work equally well independently or in a team environment
- Adaptable and can adjust to changing priorities
- Produce quality work and adhere to deadlines
- Familiarity with MS Office Suite, Adobe Pro, and document storage
Preferences
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to type 40 WPM
- Previous office and/or scanning experience
Work Location
This position may be eligible for a remote or hybrid/flexible work schedule. A position’s eligibility for remote work is established by agency management and is subject to change at their discretion at any time and for any reason. Note: Under Administrative Rule R13-4 all work must be performed within the State of Utah.
