RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare accurate estimate to ensure competitiveness, profitability, and growth
- Field incoming calls for project estimates
- Seek out work to maintain and build the electrical service and install business
- Handle day-to-day estimating and project management duties
- Project walk-throughs, review plans and other documents, get material price quotes, and put together proposals
- Purchase materials, communicate with electrical installers in the field and maintain customer contact throughout the project.
DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- 3 years of related experience in the electrical estimating process
- High school diploma, GED, or suitable equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- Self-motivated
- Positive attitude
- Reliable, detailed oriented, highly organized, and capable of handling several tasks
- Recognize a thorough understanding of the electrical industry
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
- Purchase materials, communicate with electricians in the field and maintain customer contact throughout the project.
