Our collaborative environment supports professional growth and encourages the development of new skills and expertise.Job Description: As an Electrical Estimator, you will play a key role in our projects, providing detailed cost analysis and budgeting for electrical systems. Your insights will guide decision-making processes from the initial bidding stage through to project completion. You will collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure that all electrical estimates are accurate and competitive.Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for electrical systems, including materials, labor, and other associated costs.
- Analyze blueprints and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
- Consult with subcontractors, vendors, and other stakeholders to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues.
- Participate in proposal preparation and client presentations.
- Assess cost effectiveness of products, projects, or services, tracking actual costs relative to bids as the project develops.
- Maintain current knowledge of industry trends and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an electrical estimator in the construction industry.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and components.
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
- Proficiency in estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
