Job description: Position: Fire Sprinkler DesignerJob Description:Seeking an experienced Fire Sprinkler Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fire protection systems design, with NICET certification preferred.Key Responsibilities:
- Design and layout fire sprinkler systems for various buildings and structures
- Create detailed drawings and specifications using CAD software
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors
- Perform hydraulic calculations to determine pipe sizes and sprinkler head requirements
- Review and interpret building plans, blueprints, and specifications
- Conduct site visits to assess existing conditions
- Assist in obtaining necessary permits and approvals
- Provide technical support during installation and commissioning
Qualifications:
- NICET certification in Water-Based Systems Layout preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in fire sprinkler design
- Proficiency in CAD software
- Strong knowledge of NFPA codes and standards
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
