This position focuses on cultivating strong financial relationships with current and prospective members, Selected Employer Groups (SEGs), associations, and community organizations. Working collaboratively across departments, you will enhance new membership acquisition and promote the benefits of our Credit Union products and services within targeted segments. Your efforts will strategically increase membership penetration, aligning with growth and retention goals. In this individual contributor role, you will assist the Chief Operating Officer with compliance, special projects, and data analysis to inform product development.While travel is required for SEG visits, local community engagements will be your primary focus. - Minimum of four years business degree, or equivalent experience preferred.
- Community Relationship Development Experience.
- Mortgage and Commercial Banking experience preferred.
- Must be willing to travel.
- Must be able to be registered and obtain a unique identification number as a Mortgage Loan Officer (MLO) on the Nationwide Licensing System and Registry (NMLS).
- Thorough knowledge of mortgage lending policies, procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Well-developed time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Effective coaching and mentoring skills.
- Excellent presentation and organizational skills.
- Strong strategic planning skills.
- Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment.
- Must have high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations. Position requires demonstrated poise, tact, and diplomacy.
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Self-motivation/confidence/people skills.
- Technology savvy, able to utilize digital delivery solutions, social media platforms, webinar platforms, chat features, etc. effectively and efficiently.
- Practical knowledge of sales principles and techniques.
- Knowledge of the credit union industry.
- Knowledge of SkyOne Federal Credit Union products and those of its competitors.
- Ability to exercise appropriate judgment in interpreting growth opportunities and generating support from sponsor representatives.
- A positive presence with our sponsors and within our industry.
- Thorough knowledge of the responsibilities of all departments within the credit union.
- Working knowledge of the Credit Union’s key financial information and strategic direction.
- Thorough knowledge of general economic conditions and consumer & competitive trends.
- Working knowledge of service-related operational policies and procedures.
- Active involvement and membership in community and marketing organizations.
- Thorough knowledge of demographic and product usage trends within the membership.
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of SkyOne’s target market.
