Job description: Are you an experienced sales or business development professional looking to grow your career? 160 Driving Academy, the nation’s largest CDL training provider, is seeking a motivated Business Development Specialist (BDS) to help recruit students for our CDL training program. In this role, you’ll be the face of 160 Driving Academy in your local area, connecting with community partners and prospective students to drive enrollments. Business Development Specialist Responsibilities:
- Recruit CDL Students: Identify and enroll prospective students for 160’s CDL training program
- Local Business Development: Build partnerships with trucking companies and community organizations to promote 160’s training program
- Community Engagement: Host enrollment appointments, attend community events, and represent 160 at career fairs
- Student Support: Guide students through the enrollment process and support them through graduation
- Operations Management: Oversee daily branch operations, including opening/closing, managing student files, and processing enrollment paperwork
Business Development Specialist Requirements:
- Sales or Business Development Experience: Previous sales experience is a plus
- Tech-Savvy: Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with Salesforce is a bonus
- Bachelor’s Degree: Preferred in management or a related field, or equivalent experience
